Less than 10 miles from your retreat, you'll be able to explore Orris Falls Conservation Area, Bruce Abbott Memorial Park, the Links at Outlook Golf Course, and Wonder Mountain Fun Park. After a day filled with adventure, sit back and enjoy the home's open-concept living room, full kitchen, and dining area. This space is illuminated by the glow of twinkle lights and is the perfect space to spend special moments with the people who mean the most to you. Delicious dishes can be prepared with ease amongst the kitchen's granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample meal prep space. When you aren't utilizing this space, head for the large patio. Follow the home's original wood finishes into each of the bedrooms. Adorned with soft linens and unique decor pieces - everyone is guaranteed to be satisfied with their sleeping quarters. Additional interior perks include central air-conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and internet access. As dusk descends, gather around the enchanting fire pit, where tales are shared, and memories are made. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. It is not advised to wander past the bridge. The chicken coop on the property is locked and doesn't home chickens. This home is located on a high-traffic road. Guest access The primary lockbox is located on the sliding door on the left side of the house. A backup lockbox is on the deck rail near the same sliding door entrance. Standard check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am, unless you have received and purchased a late checkout offer for your travel dates. If you need assistance with access or have questions during your stay, you can reach out for support - contact information will be in your confirmation email. Other things to note The home includes three televisions: one in the living room, one in the master bedroom on the first floor, and one in the sitting area on the third floor. An electric fireplace in the living room operates via remote control. Seasonal amenities (May through September) include a fire pit, outdoor patio furniture, and a charcoal grill. Wood for the fire pit is not provided. A shovel and ice melt are on hand. During winter, snow plowing of the driveway and shoveling of paths are provided by a local contractor within 24 hours of a snowstorm. Weekly lawn care is provided by a local service; the day of the week may vary depending on their schedule and weather. Southern Maine's natural environment includes seasonal insects and pests such as mosquitoes, black flies, ticks, sand fleas, spiders, beetles, ants, no-see-ums, and various flies. Monthly pest control is maintained to minimize their presence, though complete elimination is not guaranteed. Please bring bug spray for outdoor activities. You'll receive complimentary startup amenities including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, dishwasher pods, sponge, dish soap, laundry soap, and hand soap - these are meant to get you started, not to supply your entire stay. You are responsible for any additional supplies needed. Localized power outages during severe weather, particularly snowstorms, are not uncommon in this area. Trip insurance is advisable if you're concerned about cancellation due to severe weather.
