Cool Pines is located in the tall pines of Prescott National Forest just south of Prescott, AZ. At 6700 feet in elevation it is surrounded by the beauty of the forest yet only about 9 miles to Costco and 7 miles to Lynx Lake. This newly updated cabin has all you need for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful areas both inside and outside that offer plenty of spaces to watch a movie, cook a delicious meal, play checkers, enjoy nature and more. Come to the mountains and unwind! (TPT 21521846) The space This cabin is a wonderful spot to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains. About this space: The well appointed cabin offers three bedrooms with a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. There are two king beds and three twins ensuring several sleeping variations and comfort for all. Step inside to a large, welcoming landing area with mudroom. The hall wall has multiple hooks that are a perfect spot to hang coats and jackets. A long bench offers a convenient spot to sit down and remove all your shoes/boots and a boot tray is provided to help catch mud/snow/dirt, etc. from shoes and boots. The spacious living room has beautiful vaulted ceilings. The room has both a couch and love sofa, and a 50” SmartTV (above the fireplace) with ROKU, perfect for a movie night or binge watch your favorite programs. Note: fireplace not for use however there are battery operated candles for ambiance. Or just kick back and take in the views out the six oversized windows in the living room. The open concept living, dining and kitchen areas provide easy flow through all the living spaces. The galley style kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, outdoor dining plates and cups, etc. to cook your favorite meals. Appliances include: propane stove/oven combo, microwave, full sized fridge and freezer, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and water/tea kettle. There is also a dishwasher for easy clean up. The coffee station in the kitchen area offers complimentary coffee, creamer, a selection of teas and cocoa. Off the dining and kitchen area is an enclosed sun room. This is a great area to sit and enjoy nature, read a book or enjoy conversation with your friends and family. The sun room has two outdoor style chairs with cushions, end table and indoor/outdoor rug. A downstairs primary bedroom offers a luxurious king sized bed and cozy linens, a large closet, luggage racks and en suite bathroom including a tub/shower combo. Near the downstairs primary, on the main floor near the living room is a 1/2 bath - powder room. Next to the powder room is a full sized washer and dryer for those guests having long term stays at Cool Pines. Upstairs is another bedroom with en suite. This room has a king sized bed and comfortable linens, luggage racks, closet and en suite bathroom with stall shower. A third bedroom is located on the main floor (off the mudroom area) has three twin beds each with its own luggage rack and is set up as the “bunk room” for kids (or adults). The three twin beds have adorable cabin/animal themed quilts or duvets and bear themed art above each bed giving the space the feel of a sweet cabin themed room. This room also has a SmartTV. Or unplug and play in the kid sized tee-pee or take in a round of checkers or tick tack toe with the floor set. For those guests traveling with infants/toddlers and are in need of a crib, toys, etc. please let us know. I can recommend a rental service for these items and more that are delivered to the Cool Pines for your convenience. There are two doors in the sun room area that lead outside - one takes you out to the grilling area complete with propane grill (please be sure to turn it off when you are finished cooking) and the other door leads to the large, spacious deck. The expansive trex-deck area overlooks the lovely pines and offers both a sofa style outdoor sitting area with coffee table and chairs and a separate dining space perfect for enjoying your meals outdoors. To keep you comfortable during your stay there is a central propane heating unit for most of the cabin and an electric wall style heater for the bunk room. There is an evap cooler perfect for any warmer summer days we may get (which is not very often!) Evap coolers provide moisture into a space to provide "cooling". During times of high humidity evap coolers can be less efficient in providing "cooling". Both a reverse Osmosis water and water softener are in use at the cabin. The RO drinking water comes from the small tap on the right hand side of the sink. Check in: The code will be sent via Airbnb messages approx. 60 minutes before check-in time. When leaving/locking up the door needs just a slight pull towards you for the lock to set properly. WiFi is available at the cabin and is provided by a third party service provider. Land line phone service provided - for local and/or 911 calls ONLY. Cool Pines is located in Prescott National Forest and fire danger can be a concern in forest. PLEASE NO outside fires and NO smoking of any kind is allowed. Do not feed the wildlife! AZTPT 21521846 Guest access Guests have access to the entire home. The exterior shed is not for guests use. Other things to note There are two driveways at the property. Please use the lower driveway and access the front door by going up the steps there. The steps are a bit uneven so please watch you step.
