Our cabins are in a mountainous area southwest of Mexico City, in the town of Tlazala, municipality of Isidro Fabela, State of Mexico. The climate is mild and the forest is nearby. We offer simple but pleasant lodging in a spacious, newly built house. The space It is a newly built private house with three bedrooms. It has a total of nine beds, easily and comfortably accommodating 10-12 people. We provide sheets with a pillow and blanket for each bed that will be used. One room has its own full bathroom, the second full bathroom is at the end of the hallway. The accommodation does not include shampoo or additional soap. Guest access The tap water is drinkable and of good quality because it comes from springs high in the nearby mountains. This room shares the following common areas: - A full, spacious bathroom with a shower curtain. It's at the end of the hall and shared with guests in room number 3. There is toilet paper, and a towel and hand soap in the sink. There is hot water and the water heater, which is electric, is in the back of the house. - Kitchen, which has basic items: card with dishwasher soap, microwave, stove, a pan, a tea kettle and cutlery, plates and cups for 6 people. It does not have a refrigerator. - Dining room with a small table and 4 chairs - A living room with curtains, a fireplace, two armchairs, and a stereo. An inflatable mattress can be installed in this space if needed. - Large garden. -Expacio for 3 cars (you have to ask for the key for the chain lock). In total there are 3 rooms in total and if all tenants are booked, they will have access to all these common areas (although they are rarely all occupied). There is no internet inside the house, but if you need it you can go up to use the wifi in the main house, next to the barbecue. Other things to note We support the community and the environment in the area by purchasing local products, such as jams (some are organic, they are sold), honey, handmade tortillas, fruits and vegetables from the area. We also employ local people and are involved in various socio-environmental projects with them. Our environmental education program for children helps spread information about local biodiversity and caring for the environment. Part of the revenue will be used to support these initiatives.
