Book a romantic weekend or bring the whole family to this cozy, clean and well-appointed lake house that has plenty of room for fun. Embrace lake-life at its finest when you call this Fox Lake cottage on Mineola Bay your home away from home! We have a dock to park your boat, so bring it. Access to restaurants, bars, convenience and grocery stores, boat launches and more. Or hang out and soak in the sunshine while paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, swimming and nature hikes. The space The house is contemporary, renovated, and clean. You will be pleasantly surprised at how nice you feel when you walk in. Many guests send a note that it is "even better than they expected". The air conditioning and heat work great throughout the house and you will have no issues on the hottest days or cold nights. Besides the two main bedrooms, there is a comfy queen-size sleeper sofa downstairs, plus another room with plenty of cushions. All areas are nice and clean. Guest access We have 3-levels and 2-deck areas, plus the dock and lakefront. There is a Weber gas BBQ grill, a gas firepit on the upper deck plus a woodburning firepit by the lake. There are two parking spots. For "extra" cars, you will need to find a spot in town (about 1 mile away) where there is ample parking, and arrange for a ride back from friends, family or Uber. There is No Smoking allowed inside the residence, but there is plenty of outdoor space to relax however you like. Bring your own firewood (just in case) from a local gas station if you plan to have a bonfire. Other things to note This is our weekend vacation home. We really love this place and hope you will treat it with the same care and respect as you would your own home.
