Sunrise Cabin

Get away without going far away! Enjoy camping in our cozy little off-grid cabin, situated on 6 acres in Parkland County. A perfect getaway spot to soak up the outdoors, while still being close to all the amenities. Nearby is The University of Alberta Botanic Garden, river access for swimming and fishing in Devon, and only 25 minute drive to West Edmonton Mall. The space One room with a queen size bed, nightstand with built in USB for phone charging, and reading lamps. Please note that bedding and pillows are NOT included. The cabin is off-grid, and not heated, so please ensure to bring suffiencent blankets/sleeping bags etc. **OCTOBER 2025: A PROPANE HEATER CAN BE PROVIDED TO HEAT THE CABIN, BUT GUESTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN PROPANE. CONTACT HOST FOR DETAILS. The cabin is equipped with solar power for lights and small electronics only. The front of the cabin has a covered porch with Adirondack chairs and a small table - a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunrise. Outside you'll find a picnic table, chairs, and firewood shed. Firewood is included with your stay, we just ask that guests are considerate of use. The bathroom is an outhouse (no running water on site). Guest access To access the cabin pull into our (main house) driveway and stay left to go up the small hill, turn right down the dirt path. Other things to note There is no running water on site. Guests are required to bring their own bedding and pillows. Local fire laws for Parkland County apply. Guests are encouraged to stay up to date on the status of fire hazard levels. In the event a fire ban is in place, contact host about propane firepit.
