Room for 1 person in green Mulunguzi with garden
Lovely house with wooden floor, fireplace and veranda. On bright days you can see Mulanje Massif from the garden. Bedroom with double bed & net for 1 person. You share the house with musician Ishan. We have a night guard and Amos & Offerine live on-site and can help you if you need something. Our dog is Mitch is old & very friendly; the guard takes care of him. Nice & safe area. We have no gate and just a simple fence. Ideal for longer stays. Town is not far; 25 minutes walking. It is a very simple bedroom with a double bed, net, wardrobe and sink. Our house is basic but nice. It has 2 bedrooms; Ishan stays in one of the rooms and you in the other. You can use the bathroom, kitchen, living room, garden and veranda. Ishan has his own room and uses one room as his work place/studio. Please communicate with Annelies through AirBnB. Once you are booked and confirmed, you can communicate with the people on-site direct. We are 20 minutes walking from botanic gardens. Peter’s Lodge with TV and cold beers is opposite. Town is 2.5km, approx half hour walk. We love walking on the top toad, easily accessible from our house. Ishan runs the route that we like to walk. That route passes greek cafe Kefi (open till 2PM, closed Mondays) and the botanic gardens. We sometimes walk to Italian restaurant Casa Rossa, but that is 70-80 minutes; we love it as the views are nice and it allows us homemade Italian icecream for dessert. We have a steep drive but your car can be parked on-site. We have phone numbers for reliable taxi drivers. Walking or cycling is possible, but Zomba is hilly and town is 30 minutes. Zomba is lovely and our house is quite central. The garden is big and very nice. Ishan makes music, but is not a noisy housemate.
