The property is ideal for hiking, walking dogs, snowshoeing, exploring, yard games, relaxing on the lawn or playing in the brook. *3-Season Wood-Fired Hot Tub* If you're looking to spend your afternoon or evening soaking in warm natural waters heated by a wood fire of your making, we’ve built a custom wood fired hot tub for two. Surrounded by the river on 3 sides, our hot tub provides a relaxing experience for our guests, immersing them in the sights and sounds of the property’s natural beauty. The process of filling the tub and heating it up with the wood fire takes ~2 hours, making it special and rewarding. Enjoy the hammock, river or cooking over the fire while the water comes to temperature! *Nature You Crazy* Our exposure to 800’ of Crooked Brook’s frontage is one of the most magical features on the property. The water cascades along the entire western and southern edges of the property to form a natural boundary with undevelopable land. The waterfalls tumble next to the yard and the lower-sloped portion rambles along the edge of the woods to the south of the house. Access both using our private hiking trails. *Places to Sit* The cabin boasts 3 attached porches/patios. There is a side-access deck next to the kitchen, a large back balcony with sweeping views of the woods, valley and brook below, and a covered front porch. In addition, there is a fire pit adjacent to the brook for enjoying the flowing water up close. The options to gather and enjoy the outdoors on this unique plot of land are extensive. *The Garage* The garage is available to park one car inside and ATVs/Snowmobiles may be parked under the overhangs on 3 sides. We can also park up to 7 cars in the driveway. Firewood is stacked under the overhangs for your use in the firepit and wood fired hot tub; a firebox can be found on the back of the garage and down by the hot tub, containing paper to help you get a fire going. *Nearby* - Jay Recreation Centre - This feature of Jay just a minute down the road and is an ideal year-round playground with hiking, as well as maintained XC Skiing and mountain biking trails. - Journey’s End - The northern terminus of the Long Trail is a few minutes drive away from the property, and along with other access points, gets you to hikes with amazing vistas. - Swimming Holes - If our’s aren’t enough, there are some great ones nearby; check out our guidebook.
