Old setervang from the 1800s, without electricity and running water. Stømnervangen has an undisturbed location with nature close by. The cabin has an outhouse. Excellent area for nature experiences and an active outdoor life in the woods. Canoe included in the rent. The space Stømnervangen is a small cabin with a nice location not far from Lake Bæreia in Kongsvinger. Here there is a large meadow with many wildflowers, insects and wildlife. The cabin is without electricity and running water. The cabin only has an outhouse which is an extension to the barn. There is 1 bedroom, 1 sleeping space in connection with the kitchen and 1 loft. There are a total of 6 beds. The cabin has a kitchen and living room with dining area and sofa. Equipment included in the rent: propane, wood for firewood, paper towels, kitchen paper, equipment for washing the cabin and kitchen utensils. Bring your own bed linen, possibly sleeping bag and other consumables. Below the woodshed there is a water source where you can fetch washing water. We provide 2 pcs. 5-liter cans of drinking water. Beyond that, drinking water must be brought. The place is a great starting point for forest walks. There are great opportunities for paddling and swimming in Bæreia, as well as opportunities for bike tours. When renting Stømnervangen you have access to a canoe. You arrive at Stømnervangen by following the signs from Kongsvinger to Bæreia. From the parking lot, it is a 1.5 km walk up a steep forest road. Groceries can be purchased in Kongsvinger city center about 7 km from Stømnervangen. The cabin is older and can be experienced as cold in early spring and late autumn.
