Farm stay in Palmer

The Rancher room is themed after the old American Wild West. It has a queen bed perfect for couples or individuals. It has its own private bathroom or this bathroom connects with our Alaska room. Guests can reserve both rooms for a group or family that could accommodate up to 8 people, no indoor pet Guests can expect a farm stay complete with farm animals, dirt, and garden workers in varying sizes of grandchildren. A piano studio complete with students is also happening during the winter months. The space We are located away from the noise and distraction of city life five miles from city center, Palmer. Our 3,000 sq ft family built farm house is centrally located on ten acres of mostly open fields, a wooded section and creek. This listing is a farm stay complete with dirt, farm animals and our family doing the work. Its furnishings are more simple, farm/Alaskan in style. Guests do not have private entrance directly to their rooms. The upper story of home is exclusively dedicated to guests and is accessed through the front door on ground floor and climbing 16 stairs. Guests are encouraged and welcomed to visit, harvest and eat from our gardens, likewise musical guests have access to a baby grand piano, full organ, and guitar. Guests with an aversion to families with young children, farm animals, dirt or who seek more trendy or modern business style accommodations may be more comfortable elsewhere. Guest access Guests are offered a good nights sleep in a tidy, clean, spacious private bedroom with key locking doors. Each separate guest/group is assigned use of their own private bathroom. ( Note - Reservations in late August through Labor Day we run completely filled to capacity and some bathroom sharing could be necessary Please ask if you require a Private exclusive bathroom ) Guests can expect to share a central to all rooms living room, mini kitchen with refrigeration, toaster, microwave, and Keurig for hot drinks and meal prep. During your stay Guests are always invited to our breakfast table where good conversations of travels, places and people occur. Plan to be served mostly from the farm. Other things to note Guests please be aware of the wire fence enclosing the cattle. It is ELECTRIFIED and best not touched. Families with small children need only ask and I will unplug the fence during the time the children are out playing.
