The apartment is intended to serve as a temporary primary residence. Throughout the entire rental period, occupants are expected to officially register or take domicile at this address with the city/municipality. If domicile is not taken or cannot be taken, an additional charge of €8 per group per day will be applied on site, due to the second-residence tax imposed by the City of Ghent. The rental is governed by the Flemish Residential Tenancy Act and the Flemish Housing Code and is therefore not suitable for touristic or short-term stays.
