Charming place between Lofoten and Vesterålen. Access to a small boat with an engine makes it possible to go out to sea. The boat is in an old boathouse by the sea, and like my father and grandfather before us, we have to pull the boat down to the sea and back again with pure muscle power. There is great nature, so both mountains, forests and the sea can be enjoyed. Now also from a new 25 sqm terrace! The house is old and somewhat worn, but works great as a holiday home for us. We hope you will enjoy your stay. The space Our holiday home - "Hytta" we now want to share with you. It is located in the outer Gullesfjord - about halfway between Lofoten and Vesterålen. Great base for day trips there. The area is quiet, close to nature and you have access to a boat with outboard motor. Guest access When you rent from us you will have access to the whole house. Some rooms, cabinets and drawers are marked private, as we use the house as a holiday home ourselves. Otherwise, the whole house is available according to the principle "Leave the house as you found it" and "If you use it, clean it". Other things to note The house is from 1970, and it has been smoked inside (It is not allowed to smoke inside now!). We have renovated a lot, but it is still low standard or rustic, if you like. The beds and top mattresses are new, the bathroom has been recently painted, and a new shower enclosure has been installed, but the sink and flooring are from the year of construction. The toilet sink is currently not in use. There has never been a dishwasher or washing machine in the house, so this is now placed in the basement as a temporary solution. We have now built a new terrace of 25 sqm that you are welcome to use. No handrails have been set up, so all traffic on the terrace is at your own risk. There is now also a grill available, and this can be placed on tiles on the ground. (Not on the terrace.) Please make sure that all use of fire is performed by adults or under the supervision of adults. There is a lot of vegetation around the house and careless use of fire can cause forest fires. We use our cabin and enjoy it very much, but please note that it is a used home in the countryside, which currently does not have today's standard. The price reflects this.
