Independent house with shared patio located on Rua de Sobre Ribas, in the middle of the UNESCO route between the university and downtown. With origins in medieval times, the house was renovated in 2000 to be our home and we lived in it for almost 20 years. In 2023, it had minor adaptations. The house is not advisable for people with reduced mobility or small children (being at the discretion and responsibility of the parents). It has access to the shared outdoor patio. The space The house has 5 floors, so it is not advisable for people with reduced mobility or mobility problems. It comprises: Ground floor - entrance space, storage and laundry, with a support bathroom. 1st Floor - kitchen and dining area; 2nd Floor - the living room and workspace. 3rd Floor - a bedroom with a double bed and bathroom. 4th Floor - bedroom with two beds and work area with extra bed. Only this floor has air conditioning. The house has access to an outdoor patio shared with our office. The house has 5 floors, so we don't recommend it for small children if they are already walking or if they are not comfortable with stairs. However, children usually love the house, its floor-to-floor transparencies, and counting the steps. We have some protective objects available, such as gates, but we leave it to the consideration and responsibility of the guests. The only rooms in the house that have doors are the bathrooms. The rooms, separated from each other by a floor, have curtains in place of doors. Guest access Full access to the space. Shared patio with our office and other guests. Other things to note Since April 5, 2023, the Municipality of Coimbra has begun to charge a tourist tax equal to €1 per person per night up to a maximum of 3 nights for those over 16 years of age.
