Independent house with shared courtyard located on Rua de Sobre Ribas, in the middle of UNESCO between the university high and the downtown area. With origins in medieval times, the house was renovated in 2000 to be our home and lived in it for almost 20 years. In 2023, there were minor adaptations. The house is not advisable for people with limited mobility or for young children (being the consideration and responsibility of the parents). You have access to the shared outdoor courtyard. The space The house is made up of 5 floors, so it is not advisable for people with limited mobility or with mobility problems. It consists of: Rch - for entrance space, storage and laundry, with a support bathroom. 1st Floor - kitchen and dining area; 2nd Floor - the living room and workspace. 3rd Floor - a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. 4th Floor - bedroom with two beds and work area with supplemental bed. Only this floor has air-conditioning. The house has access to an outdoor patio shared with our office. The house has 5 floors and so we consider that it is not advisable for young children if they are already walking or if they are not comfortable with stairs. However, kids usually love the house, its flooring transparencies, and counting the steps. We have some protective items available as gates, but we leave it to the consideration and responsibility of the guests. The only rooms in the house that have doors are bathrooms The bedrooms, separated from each other, have curtains to make the door curtains. Guest access Full access to space. Courtyard shared with our office and other guests. Other things to note Since April 5, 2023, the City Council of Coimbra started to charge tourist fees equal to 1€ per person and per night until a maximum of 3 nights for over 16 years old.
