Description
The orangery is from the mid-1800s and has been converted into a home for 15 years. It is a 40-meter long and 4-meter wide house with three rooms and a glass room, about 160 sqm. The view of the lake is dazzling with a lawn facing south where Lake Mälaren spreads out. The often still water reflects the sky and provides peace. There are two bathrooms, a large room in the middle with kitchen, dining area and sleeping area, and two bedrooms at each end with 2 to 3 beds in each room, a total of 8 beds. Only 30 minutes to town. The space You enter the house from the back, there are four doors into the house. Door no. 1 leads into a simple hall. To the right is one of the bedrooms and straight ahead is a large bathroom. To the left you come to the large room, just over 25 meters long. There's a sofa bed and a futon. At the far end of the room is the kitchen. Fully equipped with a stove with two ovens and four burners, a large fridge with freezer. Further into the house there is a shower room and the other bedroom. To the conservatory/glass room there are two doors from the house, and there are also doors out to the lawn in the south. There are tables and chairs for meals both in the glass room and on the lawn outside. In the glass room there are also two lounge areas with sofas and armchairs. Guest access As guests, you have full access to the house. Other things to note It is close to Stockholm city with a half-hour bus ride to the subway. Drottningholm is within reach, in addition to the more local Rosenhill (about a 20-minute walk) and Björkö/Birka as well as Adelsö/Alsnö Hus. On the farm there are horses and sheep, it is close to forests and fields. You can swim in Lake Mälaren from the jetty in a lovely Mälarvik. There's a golf course within walking distance and two more by car.
