The space This apartment is a ground floor apartment in a partially converted barn. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a separate sleeping area with a full bed. The space is relatively accessible, with an ADA compliant ramp to get into the apartment, a walk-in shower with a 2" step, and only one low step to get from the bathroom to the second sleeping area. Shower chair and commode to raise the toilet are available if needed. The subfloor is concrete and although it's covered with carpet and linoleum it can get chilly even when the heat is on, so it's a good idea to have slippers with you if your toes get cold easily! Our home is also on the property, across the driveway from the barn. Please note that due to our rural location and the fact that some of the building is still a barn, bugs may find their way into the apartment. Please let us know if you encounter any undesired wildlife and we'll work with you to remedy the problem in a satisfactory manner.
