The Apple River, Historical Galena & Elizabeth, local breweries & wineries, shopping, dining, and The Chestnut Mountain are all within 10 - 20 mins drive from us. There's never a lack of activities to do in the area, no matter the weather! The space Nestled in the heart of Jo Daviess County, you'll fall in love with the beautiful perennial gardens surrounding our home and the giant trees in the backyard for some extra shade. The interior is as serene and picturesque as the exterior. Enjoy a dip in your private whirlpool tub and/or enjoy a separate detoxifying steam sauna/shower. Warm up next to a wood burning fireplace in the winter months. Definitely, do not forget to go in the backyard for some nature therapy and star gazing as well! Check-in is by 4 PM. Other things to note **Strict Pet Policy** We are one of the few pet friendly rentals left in the area. We request/require every reservation to include the total number of guests, as well as fur babies in the initial reservation request.
