Are you looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of life? Unplug and unwind for a while, and take the much needed break you deserve in our cozy & very spacious home in the heart of the Midwest! The Apple River, Historical Galena & Elizabeth, local breweries & wineries, shopping, dining, and The Chestnut Mountain are all within 10 - 20 mins drive from us. There's never a lack of activities to do in the area, no matter the weather! The space Nestled in the heart of Jo Daviess County, you'll fall in love with the beautiful perennial gardens surrounding our home and the giant trees in the backyard for some extra shade. The interior is as serene and picturesque as the exterior. We have 3 uniquely designed bedrooms to suit each group, and especially accommodate guests traveling with children! Do also enjoy a dip in your private whirlpool tub and/or enjoy a separate detoxifying steam sauna/shower to fully relax! Warm up next to a wood burning fireplace in the winter months. Definitely, do not forget to go in the backyard for some nature therapy and star gazing as well! Check-in is by 4 PM. If you plan on an earlier arrival time, please contact me. Check-out is at 11 AM. Other things to note **Strict Pet Policy** We are one of the few pet friendly rentals left in the area. We request/require every reservation to include the total number of guests, as well as fur babies in the initial reservation request. Our housekeeping team is kean on properly deep cleaning our home after every stay, especially when there are pets staying over, to ensure our next guest is just as comfortable. Thank you 🙏🏽
