The Adventure Cottage at Craig Creek

Find peace and solace at the end of a dirt road. The Adventure Cottage lies at the foot of The George Washington & Jefferson National Forest with access to Craigs Creek. The name is a direct reference to the activities you will experience, beginning with the small stream you will cross to gain access. T.A.C. has something to offer most anyone regardless of the season. For the outdoor enthusiast you can hike, hunt, fish, float, or kayak. Two 2-person kayaks & 4 OSFM life jackets provided. The space The Adventure Cottage has many new updates. The Electrical service, Central Heating & Cooling, Flooring, Paint, all but 3 kitchen cabinets, Furniture, & Mattresses are all newer (2023). The Living Room Sectional has 3 Powered Recliners, & a 65" UHD Roku Smart Tv Including Netflix. The First Bedroom has a Platform Queen Bed, Signature By Ashley Mattress with zippered protector, & a 43" Roku Smart Tv with Netflix Included. The Second bedroom has Queen over Queen Bunk Beds, Signature By Ashley Mattresses with zippered mattress protectors & a 43" Roku Smart Tv with Netflix Included. All beds are topped with Ultra Silky Soft 1200 thread count wrinkle free cotton blend sheets. 4 Pillows per bed; 2 Hotel Premier Collection Fiberfilled pillows & 2 Serta Cooling Gel Memory Foam Cluster Pillows. There are no closets in either bedroom but there is room under the beds for luggage or an accent chest with cubicles. The Kitchen is well stocked with basic kitchen items. To name a few there are olive oil, flour, sugar, spices, rice, spaghetti, aluminum foil, and ziplock bags. The Bedrooms are cozy BUT the Kitchen/Living/Dining area are wide open and spacious as well as the deck & covered porch outdoors. The Saluspa Inflatable (71"x71"x26") Hot tub is for up to 6 adults per the manufacturer. There are 2 Kayaks for guest use. You must be able to Transport them on your own without incident to the kayaks or your vehicle. Both Kayaks are 2 person each. 4 OSFM Life Jackets are provided. The fire pit area includes 6 resin Adirondack chairs, and there are 6 camp chairs for use at the River. Guest access Guests have access to all spaces.
