It was later renovated by renowned Vermont architect Timothy D Smith AIA and his two children - designer-builder T. Adam Smith and owner Alexis Smith. Original wide wood floors, artesian deep well water, exposed beams, brick wall accents, and rustic-chic decor create a warm and welcoming vibe. Four antique 'decorative only' wood stoves located in brick Rumsford fireplaces add to the charm. The fully equipped kitchen offers updated appliances alongside vintage pieces. The upstairs greenhouse bathroom includes a bidet and a 6-foot antique clawfoot tub with a French-fill drain, while the second bathroom has a hand-tiled shower room with two benches and three showerheads.
