The space The primary bedroom has a queen futon for additional sleeping space. There is also a twin bed in the living room near the window seat. This historic colonial home was reconstructed by syndicated author and cartoonist Jeff Danziger and artist Jan Danziger in the 70s. It was later renovated by renowned Vermont architect Timothy D Smith AIA and his two children - designer-builder T. Adam Smith and owner Alexis Smith. Original wide wood floors, artesian deep well water, exposed beams, brick wall accents, and rustic-chic decor create a warm and welcoming vibe. Four antique 'decorative only' wood stoves located in brick Rumsford fireplaces add to the charm. The fully equipped kitchen offers updated appliances alongside vintage pieces. Rest easy in each well-appointed bedroom. The upstairs greenhouse bathroom includes a bidet and a 6-foot antique clawfoot tub with a French-fill drain, while the second bathroom has a hand-tiled shower room with two benches and three showerheads. The third bathroom contains more handmade tiles, and the outhouse is an absolute classic!
