Kookaburra Retreat - Rooms

This unique property in natural bush setting, boasts stunning views from it's balconies and decks. Make yourself at home, enjoy the views, walk in the bush, connect with nature, feed the kookaburras, and visit local attractions. Accomodation for up to 4 guests, in 2 upstairs bedrooms, with bathroom. If you are booking for 2 guests but require 2 rooms, you'll need to book for 3 guests, to give you access to both queen rooms. Downstairs living area, kitchen and laundry are shared with the hosts. The space There are two upstairs guest bedrooms available, each with queen bed, reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating, ceiling fan, balcony, and large deck. The bathroom is shared between the two guest rooms, but not with the hosts. The kitchen, laundry and living areas are shared with hosts Angela and Glenn. We can make storage space available so that you don't have to have everything in your bedroom. Bird feeding is available each morning and night. Your host, Angela is a Natural Therapist, and treatments are available at extra cost. Therapies available are: Relaxation Massage, Bowen Therapy, Reiki, Emotional Healing and Ear Candling. The property is situated on a secluded, bush block, whilst being only 4km to local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The property is on an unsealed road. Guest access Guests have access to living area, outside dining/sitting areas, balconies, kitchen, laundry, bathroom, storage room, gardens and 18 acres of bushland. During your stay Guests will be sharing the common areas in our home. You will have private bedrooms, bathroom, and top storey deck. The living areas, kitchen, laundry, lower deck and outdoor space are shared with your hosts, but never with other guests, as we only take bookings from one group at a time. We can mostly keep out of your way, but are more than happy to chat with you, give local recommendations, etc. if you'd like. Other things to note Light, continental breakfast items are included. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements, and what type of milk you prefer. Host is a Natural Therapist, and offers massage, Reiki, Bowen Therapy, etc. on the property at the going rates. There is a small shop on the property, selling crystals, gemstones, jewellery, etc. The home is set in natural bushland, adjoining the Cardinia Aqueduct Trail, and Hillview Reserve. The property is centrally located and a convenient distance to the Dandenong Ranges, Mountain villages, major shopping complexes, Gippsland, Puffing Billy, The Mornington Peninsula, Emerald Lake, Melbourne CBD, Yarra Valley, and so much more! Please note that the property is situated on an unsealed road. It is only 4km to local restaurants, Coles, Aldi, etc.
