The space Welcome to the Tourterelle gîte, a small Creole hut nestled on the green heights of Capesterre. Ideal for a couple or small family (2 people), this authentic accommodation immerses you in the Creole art of living: simplicity, friendliness and life turned towards the outdoors. You will have access to: 1 air-conditioned bedroom with double bed, an equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, dishes, coffee maker), a private terrace with dining area to enjoy your moments with family or friends. Here, no closed living room: everything is lived outside, in the calm, greenery and away from the seaweed. Guest access In hot weather, if you don't feel like going to the beach, a communal swimming pool is available from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (mandatory supervision for children). Other things to note For the more athletic among you, it is also possible to tackle the hike from the heights of Capesterre starting from Beauséjour. The hike from Hauts de Capesterre to Marie-Galante is one of the 9 main loops that allows you to discover the coastline of the village of Capesterre and the hinterland on the plateau at an altitude of 150 m for a duration of 4 hours. This plateau is occupied by farms dedicated mainly to sugar cane. There are still some remnants of a windmill.
