This is the Master bedroom in this older, well taken care off 3-BR home where literally old meets new (read on). Your room has a queen bed, dresser, smart TV and private half bath. The main bathroom has walk-in shower. Kitchen is fully equipped, laundry is available. Two minutes from I-35, centrally located to get you anywhere in under 5min, shopping, restaurants, hospital, park, entertainment. A husky mix lives at the home. Please read ENTIRE listing to set your expectations right. The space We acquired this house from a family that housed three generations there. When they moved they left some of their "old" well taken-care-of furniture behind. So we decided to just inherit everything as is to let the newer generations enjoy what survived the centuries' wheel of time. Original hardwood floors and old antique-like furniture from original owners will take you back to the 50's and the redone shared full bath w/walk-in shower gives you the comfort of modern. We appreciate you looking and considering renting this room. BUT: to avoid any false expectations or disappointment, we ask you to do your "HOME WORK" and please read all in this listing - especially "OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE" - so you know WHAT exactly we offer (and what not) and what we expect in return from you ... Thank you for your help making your visit a pleasant one for you and us. On an important disclosure note: We foster a vibrant athletic Husky / German Shepherd mix and she is lives there till she finds her own family. In case you fall in love, she is available for adoption. She will be in her crate when you arrive and will be happy to meet you with one of us being present. It is important to not just go up to her when she is inside her crate as this is her safe zone. She is friendly once introduced to you. But previous guests took it on to themselves to invade her privacy, ignored her warning bark and stuck the hand/fingers into her crate... Consequently, Airbnb required us to declare her being the dangerous animal and we posted extra precaution notes next to her crate as ell as here in the listing. Thank you for your kind understanding. During your stay I do not live there but stop by ever now and then. Should you need immediate assistance, I could be there in under 15 minutes. Other things to note You are NOT the only guest in the house, the home is shared with guests staying in the other two bedrooms. Please note that we are SMOKE FREE inside the home, outside is ok. And we do not allow any use/storing/selling/trading of marijuana or any recreational drugs. If you need any medical , please do it anywhere else away from our home but do not bring to our premises. While marijuana may be legal in Oklahoma, the odor is too invasive and of disturbance to anyone and we do not allow it. If you may have read my bio, I am a big German Shepherd lover and rescue German Shepherds on Shelter Death Row from across the country. We currently have vibrant bouncy Husky/German Shepherd mix live with us and is ready for adoption). She is friendly , but she still may jump on people. Thus, PLEASE NOTE that she will need to be introduced to you first before you approach her in her crate or see the need to stick your hands into her crate.
