Only 10 minutes from South Lake Tahoe and 20 minutes from the North shore. Our space is perfect for couples, friend groups, or even small families. Whether you come for the lake in the summer or to hit the slopes in the winter, this centrally-located stay hits all the marks. The space STR Permit #DSTR1066P A quick 5 minute walk to the shores of Lake Tahoe (must use crosswalk to cross Hwy50, which can be busy) and multiple scenic hiking paths. Our upstairs guest suite is the perfect place for couples, friend groups, or even small families. We are less than a quarter mile from the Cave Rock boat ramp. Nearby you will also find kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard rentals. Our home comes equipped with beach towels and chairs if you'd like to take a walk or drive to the beach. Proximity to the lake also means proximity to hwy 50. With easy access to the highway, it's a short drive to many of the attractions around the lake tahoe basin. Due to this proximity, we have also installed sound machines and black-out curtains for any inconvenience the highway lights and sounds may cause. While this guest suite is completely private and in your own space, it is on the sealed off second floor of our home. We live in the main home / first floor with our baby and two pups. We have sound proofed the walls, but there may be time where you hear the laughter or crying of our little one or the sounds of family life. There are perks of staying with locals though! We would be happy to share any local insights with you during your trip. We'll even let you in on some of our favorite hikes within walking access from our house!
