Spacious and cozy holiday cottage on a wonderfully tranquil and picturesque organic farm. Perfectly situated to explore all that the stunning East Devon AONB and the spectacular Jurassic Coast has to offer. The cottage is an idyllic getaway, popular with families, walkers, cyclists and those just wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guests can enjoy a picnic in the orchard or walk our grassy paths following the route of the long-closed Bluebell Railway line. The space Stable Cottage is a charming 3 bedroom cottage, sleeping 6 (or 7). Full central heating. On the ground floor, is the large open plan living room, with kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted: integrated fridge (and freezer compartment), dishwasher and oven. Upstairs, are the three large bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and one with adjoining bathroom. Two bedrooms have double beds and one has two singles, with the possibility of one extra pull-out bed. The farm is rich in biodiversity and you will enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The night sky here lights up with stars, as we are far from light pollution. From this tranquil setting situated 5 miles from the sea, guests can explore the spectacular Jurassic Coast, with its lovely sea towns, such as Lyme Regis, and coastal walks. Lots of local walks and plenty of places of interest to visit ensure that you will have an enjoyable stay in all seasons. For example, take a scenic walk from your door to Musbury Castle, 45 minutes away, with its panoramic views of the Axe Valley and the coast at Beer beyond. There is a wide choice of dining options in the area, including River Cottage, situated close by. Guest access The cottage is self-contained, in a quiet location, with its own private entrance and own parking area. Outside there is a tranquil seating area within the orchard. Children and dogs are welcome (please keep dogs on leads at all times, as we have chickens and lambs). Please note, that in the summer months (june/july/august) we can only accept bookings for a minimum of 4 nights. Other things to note The postcode will correctly get you to leave the public highway onto our drive, but from there please read the direction sheet we send you after booking to help you easily find the cottage. A car is highly recommended to fully enjoy your stay here with us. Dogs Please keep dogs on leads at all times, including around the cottage and when going for walks on the farm. We have free range chickens, sheep with lambs and cattle with calves. We also have lots of wildlife that we want to protect and encourage.
