The open concept living room and kitchen is framed by windows with wooded views. The living room has a TV and floor to ceiling views of the outdoors and fire pit area outside. The living room's sofa pulls out into a full bed, to accommodate another guest or two. At the Fuji you'll enjoy a kitchen fully stocked with: - all of your cooking essentials - a reverse osmosis water filter for drinking water at the sink - utensils, spices and cookware - granola bars for hiking - a coffee and tea station - a mini fridge (no freezer at this time!) Built-in bench seats surround your dining area. In the bedroom is a king sized bed with hybrid memory foam mattress, blackout curtains, a full sized dresser to store your things and a TV for movie nights in bed. The bathroom features a gorgeous floor to ceiling tile wall in the walk-in shower and all of the toiletries you'll need. Outside, you're invited to soak in the hot tub on the front porch and sit at the fire pit on the gravel patio below. The Fuji is just a short 10 minute drive from Hocking Hills State Park. Nearly all of the Hocking Hills' best hikes are a 10-20 minute drive away. For a delicious meal nearby, head to Kindred Spirits restaurant at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, just 15 minutes away. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner daily and seasonally for lunch, featuring a menu that often includes local ingredients. Next, head to Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery (13 mins away) for a wine tasting and a view of the sheep who graze the vineyard. Finally, we're 20 minutes from the Hocking Hills main Lodge, which features several casual dining options and 30 minutes from Ohio University in Athens, OH, where you'll find amazing food in every genre (both casual and upscale), from Thai to Mexican to Italian. When you arrive at the Fuji, you'll park in the private driveway, just a few feet from the front entrance. If you arrive at night, path lights will guide you along the driveway from the road to the cabin. Although cell phone reception is limited (most carriers don't have service) at The Fuji and in other parts of the Hocking Hills, depending on your carrier, we offer Starlink internet that you're welcome to connect to for WiFi calling during your stay.
