Nestled back on a dead end road, our cottage is located right on the water. It is the perfect getaway for families and adults. It is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The lake is a full recreational lake, Summer (swim, fish, water ski, ATV, mountain bike, hike, golf, etc), & winter (snowmobile, ski, ATV, ice fish, Snow shoe etc) activities with two public launch access points. Hiking and Kusel Lake County Park just 2 minutes down the road. A quick 10 minutes to Nordic Mountain where there are also hiking trails, bicycle trails, skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. Snowmobile clearings are also nearby. Wake hours 10am -5pm No-Wake hours 5pm - 10am Boat Rental options - ask owner for details Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible in our home, please feel free to make yourselves at home. We provide all the bathroom supplies you should need. During your stay While I might not always be available in person, I am usually nearby & I try to respond within an hour to any questions you may have. Please feel free to call or text me at any time during your stay if you need help or have questions. For winter activities, Nordic Mountain ski resort and tubing hill is less than 6 miles away. There are also hiking and cross country skiing trails across the road at Kusel Lake Country Park. Located on a great ice fishing lake (Wilson) and right across the road from another great winter fishing spot on Kusel lake. During the summer, Nordic Mountain offers hiking and bike trails. The cabin is surround by 3 camp grounds that are all accessible by car, golfcarts, or UTV's. Bars and restaurants at each with different activities hosted by the camps. Our cottage is the perfect place to unplug, relax, and take in nature. The backcountry roads offer a place for a peaceful run, walk, or bike ride. The lake is a gorgeous place to end and start your days. A vehicle is necessary to get around. No parties allowed. This is a family-friendly rental. There is an outdoor fire pit. There is no smoking in the house, or near the doors to the entry of the home. This is a very strict rule. If there is any sign of smoking or smell of smoke, we will move forward with a fine. Cancellation Policy: Please be aware our cancellation policy is set to strict due to the demand for the space. So be sure before booking. Early Checkin: Early check-in is an option and may incur an additional fee depending on the check-in time, please ask us about the fee structure if interested in an early check-in. What to bring: I recommend bringing paper plates, solo cups, and paper towels. While we have plates and cups for your use, disposable ones may be more convenient for your stay if you don't want to clean dishes. I also recommend bringing beach towels.
