Woodland Cottage Fresh eggs from the coop!

Welcome to our peaceful little homestead cottage nestled in the trees. Wake up to Wild bunnies, deer grazing and birdsong. Brand new beds and linens. Cozy lounge spaces inside and out. Climb the ladder to the upper bedrooms and balcony to watch the stars. Check out the game collection, pick something from our library of books, and relax by the outdoor fire or swing from the peaceful evergreens in a hammock. We welcome you to gather fresh eggs from our hens in the garden coop. The space Wooded acreage backed up to a creek and forest preserve. A large sprawling English garden space to sit and enjoy nature. Wildlife abounds; wild rabbits, deer and birds will greet you no matter the time of day. A BBQ is available in the gazebo. There are chickens in the coop and you are welcome to collect eggs. The chickens also love your fruit and veggie scraps if you would like to give them a treat. Guest access Wood fire pit with firewood available November- July ish. until the county burn ban goes into effect. Large grassy field, wild flowers and berries in summer months. Ladderball game, climbing structure, porch swing, tree hammock, and tree swing for everyone to play. We have laying hens in a movable coop in the garden. Guests are welcome to gather fresh eggs. Please be sure to securely latch the nesting box. Do not let the chickens out. We may release them to forage during the day but asked that guests not do so without permission Sorry the trampolines on the very far side of the property are not for guest use.
