Nestled in the jungle, the Casita Tejone is a peaceful place to enjoy nature. It's part of the Tailwind Jungle Lodge, located just 10 minutes drive north of San Pancho. This cozy jungle house offers lots of privacy and a place to get away from it all. Guests enjoy nature, hiking trails, secluded beaches in close proximity to the community (restaurants, shops, night-life). Enjoy the action of town and then return to the peaceful jungle for a good nights sleep. The space The Casita Tejone is part of the Tailwind Jungle Lodge, an eco-lodge and adventure company located approx. 3 miles to the north of the charming town of San Pancho. The Casita Tejone has a full bedroom and loft bedroom. The Casita Tejone includes a Mexican style dinning table and chairs, a delightful hammock, a small kitchenette, a main bedroom, loft bedroom, a private shower made with intricate rock/wood designs and a private composting toilet (clean and comfortable!). The Casita Tejone is accessed from the parking area by a set of stairs (long and steep), best suited for adventurers and nature lovers. The Casita Tejone is a 15 minute walk from a spectacular beach. The Tailwind Jungle Lodge is an eco-lodge run by an adventurous American Family. They look forward to sharing their jungle home with you! The lodge also offers sea kayaking, sailing, hiking, and yoga. Of course, hanging out in the hammock is an option too! Guest access Guests have access to a small swimming pool, spectacular yoga platform, and a pristine white sand beach. Yoga classes available by request. The secret beach is a 15 minute walk on a beautiful jungle trail, only accessible by foot, there no roads to this beach. This spectacular beach also has a special kind of clay/mud that is great for the skin . . . natural spa treatment! During your stay We love getting to know our guests! I live onsite and hope to greet you upon arrival. The Tailwind Jungle Lodge also offers kayaking, SUP and surfing adventures to our guests. If you're feeling energetic we'd love to show you the secrets of this coastline! If you'd prefer to relax, the hammock awaits. Other things to note We are about a 10 minute drive from the town of San Pancho. We're at the end of a beautiful jungle road. We do not have a restaurant on site, however there are many excellent restaurants in San Pancho, from tasty tacos to fancy 4 stars. Your Casita also has a little kitchenette (coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, fridge, stove, etc.) if you'd like to cook for yourself in the jungle. Please note that we have wifi available for all guests, however it is not in all rooms. Guests may come to the central office anytime to connect. We do encourage that our guests try to disconnect as much as possible and let the jungle work its magic :).
