The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The newly remodeled cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin! All reservation should reflect the amount of people staying correctly. Pets have been allowed at this location in the past. However, we will be trying something new this year. The Green Cabin will not allow dogs at this time. If you have booked with a pet prior to March 10, 2024 than the pet is allowed and will up hold the reservation with your canine kid. With that being said the lake does allow pets still at the Tan Lake House right next door to the Green Cabin. Any questions please feel free to reach out. There are four kayaks available for all guest to use. The Kayaks will not be available for use during the winter months December - March. The cabin does sit back in the cove and is in more shallow water. I recommend guest who want to swim to head to the beach which is a short walk through the campground. The cabin offers a charcoal grill for outside use. Charcoal and other amenities for grilling are recommended to bring. There is a fire pit in the back, Wood is provided. Pulling bark off the hickory tree or any other tree to throw in the fire pit will result in fines. Please respect the property. The front bedroom has a queen sized bed. The back bedroom has two beds. One a full size and the other a twin. The cabin is stocked with the basic kitchen amenities. Pots, pans, silverware, knives, baking sheet, crock pot, cooking utensils, coffee pot, air-fryer, microwave, kettle and dishes. Any questions please ask Guest have access to the entire cabin and boat dock waterfront. Please be mindful of the neighbors that are close by. Children should be monitored at all times. Life jackets are available. I live locally and will be happy to help with any questions upon request. The neighborhood is a quiet lane located just behind the Lake Sara Campground. The waterfront restaurant, bar, frisbee golf course,beach, marina, and golf course are all within walking distance, but can be reached via car. Parking is available at all places. • Kayaks are there for guest use. The kayaks should be placed face down to keep the rain out and paddles • There is a tv with a dvd/vhs player. You can bring movies you enjoy. There is also a Redbox at the Dollar General you will pass on the way in. The cabin does have internet for guests to use. There is also Netflix’s available please use the profiles “Cabin Guest” and “kids” only. • The beach has been updated with fun playgrounds for the kids to enjoy. There is also a frisbee golf course next to the beach. It is not completely done but is playable at this time. So bring some discs if you would like to throw a round!
