Waterfront Cabin•Boat Dock, Fireplace&Beach Access

The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin! The space The private boat dock and slip let you bring your own boat, kayaks, or paddleboard and leave it in the water for your full stay. Whether you’re skiing, tubing, or paddling at sunrise — the lake is right there. Four kayaks are available for guests across our two lakeside properties — more than enough for a group, with life jackets in multiple sizes provided. Lake rules state anyone over 12 years old are not required to wear them on the water but you are required to have one in the kayak with you. The cabin does sit back in the cove and is in more shallow water. I recommend guest who want to swim to head to the beach which is a short walk through the campground. The cabin offers a charcoal grill for outside use. Charcoal and other amenities for grilling are recommended to bring. There is a fire pit in the back, Wood is provided. Pulling bark off the hickory tree or any other tree to throw in the fire pit will result in fines. Please respect the property. The front bedroom has a queen sized bed. The back bedroom has two beds. One a full size and the other a twin. On cool evenings, the wood-burning fireplace makes the cabin feel like a private retreat The cabin is stocked with the basic kitchen amenities. Pots, pans, silverware, knives, baking sheet, crock pot, cooking utensils, coffee pot, air-fryer, microwave, kettle and dishes. We love welcoming pets! Up to 2 dogs are welcome (pet fee applies). Keep them leashed, clean up after them, and please don’t leave them alone in the house. ESA pets are subject to the same fee as other pets. If you are traveling with more the two pet’s please reach out. Please note when typing in the address to manually add the address. There is a similar address that takes you south. If you are headed away from the lake after typing in the address it is wrong. The cabin sits on the waters edge. All reservation should reflect the amount of people staying correctly, including pets. Life jackets are available. Other things to note Kayaks are there for guest use. The kayaks should be placed face down to keep the rain out and paddles There is a tv with a dvd player. You can bring movies you enjoy. The cabin does have internet for guests to use. There is also Netflix’s available please use the profiles “Cabin Guest” and “kids” only. The Cabin is located just a short walk to the Beach, Pinky’s The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions, exercise equipment, pickleball courts and a frisbee golf course!
