Light and air - Artist's house for nature lovers

This unique place has a style all its own. We wanted wanted to make something attractive out of the old, dilapidated building from the 1950s. Above all, the large garden with old trees and the beautiful location near Regensburg motivated us to redesign the house individually on the old foundation walls. The space Wood, steel, stone – these are the favorite materials of hosts Stefan and Rike, who have realized their passion here. With found and used pieces, they have created their own interior design that makes the stay special. Couples, small groups and families can feel comfortable and relax here. A ping-pong table and nest swing are provided. Important for families: The staircase inside is not childproof and there are also places in the garden that are not suitable for small children due to the hillside location. The living, dining and sleeping areas are open. The centerpiece is a modern tiled stove and a cozy sitting area in front of a large bookshelf. From the beam double bed on the ground floor you can wake up to the sunrise behind treetops. The second sleeping option is a "Green Earth" sofa bed in the gallery - a light-flooded small room to relax and work. In the high-quality solid wood kitchen there is a dishwasher and an electric stove with ceramic hob. You will also find everything that counts as basic equipment in the modern kitchen. The newly renovated bathroom has underfloor heating and a walk-in shower. Towels are provided. ​ The large terrace is covered. A brick wood-burning stove invites you to make a fire and grill. The large garden offers numerous opportunities to linger and is completely fenced. Numerous hiking and biking trails start right outside the front door. Kallmünz can be reached in a few minutes by car. The nearest supermarket is also there. The attractive Regensburg, a World Heritage Site, is only 20 minutes away by car. Numerous canoe rental locations can be found in the area, as well as other recreational activities such as climbing and paragliding. ​ Other things to note Parking is available in the courtyard and in front of the house. Another parking space in the upper part of the property is still under construction. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac, therefore no through traffic, but also no sufficient turning possibility.
