Very serene and relaxing getaway, situated in a quiet country setting, about 9 miles North of Wasilla. Our 35 acre Lakefront homestead is situated on a small, non-motorized, private lake shared by only two other houses. Our place is fully furnished with linens, washer and dryer and a 2nd story deck with a gas grill. We have a nice fire pit by the lake to enjoy an evening sunset and relax. Additionally, we have a kayak, canoe and paddle boat to explore our lake and wildlife The space The place is located on the second story of the building, offering nice views of the lake from the second story deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary cookware and accessories. It has a full sized bathroom with a washer and dryer. It’s situated on our 35 acre homestead that is surrounded by other larger parcels of land, allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay, but only 15 minutes to Wasilla and less than 5 miles to the grocery/liquor stores and gas stations. . We live out in the woods as I like to say and you will need to drive 2 miles on a dirt road, the last mile can get bumpy especially after a we receive a lot of rain. You do not need four wheel drive or high clearance vehicles to access our place. In fact, most neighbors and my wife drive cars daily. I just want to make sure guests from “outside” understand we are not located on a paved street. Guest access You will have the entire space to yourself that offers a private entry with interior stairs. Other things to note We have a canoe, paddle boat and two kayaks for your use on the lake. Additionally, we have a fire pit at the lake for your enjoyment to relax, take in the sites and share conversations. We also have coolers to use should you need them for fishing trips and such. Along with some extra freezer space should you have a bountiful halibut or salmon trip.
