This large family home is situated on over an acre of flat sunny land in the highly desirable neighborhood of Garden Gate. Centrally located, and a short drive to the airport, downtown Victoria, and the Brentwood Bay Marina. From the front doorstep you can access beautiful hiking trails in Oak Haven and Gowland Todd park. Butchart Gardens and Church and State winery are just over a kilometer away. The space This three level home is over 4000 square feet. Plenty space for multiple families to come together in one space and enjoy a getaway on the the island. Through the front door is the main level where there is a great room with a large dining room table, modern kitchen with fisher payklel appliances, family room with a TV, bathroom, laundry room, and children's playroom. The upper level has 4 bedrooms, each overlooking mature trees in nature with complete privacy. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. There is another 3 piece bathroom accessible through the main hallway. The lower level has a large bedroom with a king size bed, and smaller bedroom with a twin bed, and a 3 piece bathroom. Here you will also find a bar/games room as well as a media room with a 120' TV with surround sound. Perfect for bringing everyone together for a Movie night and popcorn. There are 6 foam nuggets that can be as additional seating, or used by children to make forts :) The media room coach can be transformed into a queen size bed. The lower level also has a small gym with bowflex weights and a peloton, as well as a traditional Finnish sauna, all of which you are welcome to use. Guest access You will have access to the entire house except the garage and a few storage rooms in the house. You will also have access to full 1 acre of yard, most of which is flat grass. We have a small garden for your use. And the fruit trees should be bearing apples and pears by August/September - you are welcome to pick and eat. Other things to note This is our families home, not a full time short term rental. We are going on vacation in August and we wanted to share our home with others while we were away.
