This peaceful and centrally-located cabin is brand new, built with repurposed materials from million dollar homes in Jackson WY. An eclectic and cozy place for you to lay your head, enjoy forest views, and explore the forest on your way to the creek. Keep an eye out for the local deer herd, our red tailed hawk's nest, and listen for our resident great horned owl. Easy access to hiking, biking, rafting, Targhee, Jackson, GTNP, YNP and more. Built on a hillside, straight path from driveway, downhill path to creek with some branches in the way…fresh trail sometimes gets overgrown. Cabin is quiet and lots of south facing windows looking into the forest. Parking is a shared driveway with a designated spot. Cabin is all yours. Woods are shared with us and local wildlife. There’s a beach by the creek and I plan to put a flip sign to identify when it’s occupied so we can respect each others privacy. I don’t think the wildlife will know how to flip the sign though. I’m available to answer any questions, although I often head up into the mountains for the day or sometimes overnight. Touch base with me beforehand if you have any specific questions or requests, but cell service is pretty available. My partner is also around but spends most of his days on the river. Quiet neighborhood, only neighbors are us. 3 acre property bordering National forest to the south and east, open ranch land to the north. Closest neighbors are several acres away. 7min to Victor, 10min to Driggs. 40min to Jackson, 50-60 min to Grand Teton National park. 1.5 hr to Yellowstone National park south entrance, 2hr to west Yellowstone. 20 min to Grand Targhee resort, Teton canyon trailhead, Darby canyon trailhead, horseshoe bike trails etc. 2 min walk to the private creek access.
