The Camp at Moodys Island

Welcome to our peaceful camp on stunning Damariscotta Lake. With a private beach just steps away, you can relax to the soothing sounds of the water lapping against the shore. Spend your evenings roasting marshmallows over a campfire under the stars, take a kayak out for a peaceful cruise. Cast a line, or enjoy swimming in the beautiful lake. This tranquil setting is the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and create lasting memories with loved ones! The space The Camp is perfectly secluded, tucked away in its own special spot at the end of a dirt road. The Camp inside is clean, and has everything you need from cookware, linens and towels. It is a 3 season Camp with AC in each bedroom you're sure to have a comfortable night's sleep by the Lake. As a bonus private boat launch is available to those who want to bring their own powerboat! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire Camp. We also have an additional Bunkhouse that sleeps 2. Guests will have access to any non motorized boats such as kayaks, and paddle boat that is at the Camp. A gas BBQ grill is available as well as firepit for any outdoor cooking needs. Other things to note You may not want to leave once you arrive, but if you need to see lighthouses and salt water , there a several beaches within a half hour drive. Local ice cream, bakeries, farm stands, lobster rolls, art mueseums, boutique shopping, and a world famous Diner - all just a short drive away. The Mid coast leaves little to be desired on your Maine vacation!
