Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This retreat is a safe space for all and offers a restorative and peaceful connection with nature. A remodeled mini horse barn provides a unique glamping experience. Tucked on the edge of the woods, this site feels very secluded while still situated close to a variety of towns, activities, and cultural opportunities (cell service is strong in this area). The space This cabin provides a cozy Glamping experience. There is no electricity but there is good cell service. Inside the cabin there is a waterless composting toilet, a gravity fed water system for the sink, and a solar shower station behind the cabin. There is a day bed that transforms into a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. A mattress pad and pillows are provided, please bring your own sheets, pillow cases, blanket/ sleeping bag, and towels. There is a small charging station, the charging station can charge small devices/ appliances and be recharged using a car lighter (the charging cord is attached to the charging station). There is a touch light with a phone charger and two small rechargeable fans. Outside there is a cooking area with a table, a single, propane, burner, and a charcoal grill. There are basic cooking supplies including a small pot, pan, utensils, salt/pepper, and dishes. There is a fire pit and firewood/ kindling is provided. Guest access We offer contact-less check in, the cabin is kept unlocked. There is a key located on a hook inside the cabin for you to take with you on day trips if you prefer to keep the cabin locked during your stay. Please note that there are latches for the barn door on the floor on the inside of the cabin in front of the sliding barn door. When you arrive you will pull into the drive way and see a blue arrow directing you to the cabin. You will drive into a field (this is a gravel road) and just before the woods there is a small “parking” sign. You will see the cabin from here (about 50 feet from the parking area). There is a welcome folder on the kitchen table in the cabin with information on every cabin system to help make your visit smooth and enjoyable. Other things to note This is a semi-remote site where guests have to drive past the main house to get to the wooded area where the cabin is located. It is about 200 yards from the main house and is tucked in the woods and cannot be seen from the main house.
