Yātu is a beautiful, remote spot in the Rudohorie mountain region. Our unique space offers the opportunity to reconnect with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our bell tent is fully off grid, and fully ecological. Every care has been taken to provide a quiet, comfortable space, ideal for couples and small families. NEW! outdoor hot bath and breakfast (charged separately) The space Our 5m bell tent offers a double mattress with fresh bed lining and towels. A futon can be set up an additional bed - ideally for a child. A thick duvet and a woodburning stove will keep you toasty. (Each 24hr period has an allocated amount of wood based on the time of the year. Additional wood can be purchased if the mountain nights give you a hard time.) There are a range of rechargeable lamps to make the space comfortable. You can charge these and your own devices on a solar generator provided, although rather than looking at phones, we hope you will choose to spend time reading books, playing cards, chess and jenga we prepared for you. A true digital detox! There is also an outdoor dining area covered with a canvas roof, a compost toilet, and a outdoor firepit. The small kitchen is fully equipped with a double gas stove, fresh drinking water, washing up bowl cool box, complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, spices, pasta, and more. There is a possibility of having a hot outdoor bath. This can be booked both, in advance or after the check-in. The cost is 50.00 € and the amount is paid in cash on site. Should you just want a quick shower, you can use one on the neighbouring farm for 3.50 €. It is payable in cash. Just let us know and we will explain more in detail. Lastly, you can order breakfast to be brought to you. It contains fruit juice, fresh coffee, cereal (granola) with milk, pastry, jam and butter. Vegan milk and butter are available. The breakfast is 6.00 €/person. Guest access The entire space is yours. Nearest property is 200m away, a working farm. Feel free to visit the farm animals, goats, baby cows, and horses. There is a local (wood burning) bakery 10 mins away in a village called Sihla, and a local grocery shop in Lom nad Rimavicou. Other things to note When you reach the village of Drabsko, Sedmak, please follow signs for 'Marekov Dvor' until you reach the farm's parking . The tent is another 200 meters away from this point, but because the dirt track is not in a very good state, we recommend you leave your vehicle there. We have a 4-wheeled trolley ready for your luggage and food, but please be aware it will be a 4 min walk to the camp from the car.
