Blue herons and otters frequent our waterfront dock (complete with kayak launch) located at the end of a dead-end road in downtown Oriental. We are also walking distance from the historic downtown of Oriental, the town boat ramp, the New Village Brewery and the Oriental harbor. You have house to yourself! (You have the house to yourself, these two rooms are reserved for our personal use when we are in town. We never rent the house out when we are in town.) I will be available via messaging during your stay. Our home is in the “theater district” of downtown Oriental, a small historic town of about 800 people nestled along the Pamlico Sound/Neuse River. We live on one of the many sprawling creeks of the inland waterway (so fun to explore on kayak). The town harbor and waterfront are within walking distance. The local brewery and theater are only two blocks away. But, when you are inside our house, you will feel as if you are extremely remote. We have plenty of parking available on the driveway and the grass to the right of the driveway. Most of Oriental can be seen by foot, bike or boat.
