This stylish and unique place sets the stage for a memorable trip. The Terry House, we just bought the building in January of 2023 and have been renovating the home one room at a time. This room is on the 2nd floor inspired by Jackie Kennedy featuring antique and historic art work. Our guest rooms are spacious, with queen or full beds as well as private baths and a mini fridge in each room. There is a common area space called the parlor room on the first floor. The Terry House, a Federal Townhouse circa 1860, is located in historic New Castle, Delaware. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed. Our guest rooms are spacious, with private baths, queen size beds and modern amenities. The rooms offer a view of Battery Park, Market Square, the Court House or the Delaware River during the winter months. Guest will be able to use the first floor parlor room. As well as the back porches and there bedrooms. We are not on site full time but do live in the area so we do come by from time to time. Best way to get ahold of us is by phone. Historic New Castle has several restaurants including Jessop’s Tavern, Nora Lees, Mercury Cafe, Booth House, and Zollies! You also have some antique shops and things including one that is in the building called All Good Things. The town does historic tours as well with most of the buildings being built in the 1800s. There is a beautiful new pier that was just built and a walking trail right by the water. Battery Park gives you the hint of nature you need on your little get away! The area also has summer concerts and events. There is parking in front of the building and across the street as well as the side streets. You will never not find a space to park. Parking is available on the streets in Old New Castle. If there is no sign saying otherwise, feel free to park anywhere on the side of the street! P.S. We are currently not serving breakfast due to the kitchen and dining area being under renovation.
