"The Great Hall" is a large dining hall which boasts a large handcrafted wooden table, providing more than ample space for everyone to gather, enjoy a meal, play some board games, or catch up with family and friends. Stepping outside, the verandah offers an inviting dining area and casual sitting. While the yard beckons with the shade of magnificent shade trees. A rustic pavilion complete with dining tables, casual seating and a bbq, is the perfect spot for long memorable lunches and slow afternoons. Find a seat to watch the cattle and donkeys graze in the paddocks and be entertained by the guinea fowl who roam the yard and paddocks. As evening falls, dine in the pavilion beneath the enchanting glow of festoon lighting. Guest access Guests will have access to the house yard and orchard only. Absolutely NO access to any paddocks as there are cattle and donkeys grazing. This is for your safety as well as for the animals safety. Other things to note WynClara is located approximately 3km along a country dirt road, there are then three gates to be opened and closed to get to the house. You may come across cattle on the road, please drive slowly and carefully and they will move on. Things that come with country living - dust, insects, birds, wildlife, cobwebs and barbed wire fences. Pets considered on application. Guests are to supply their own firewood. Maximum of 12 guests. No parties allowed. Unfenced water areas including but not limited to dams, creek, troughs, water holes. Please note that there is a creek crossing along the dirt road to WynClara. Typically, this crossing remains dry for extended periods, sometimes years at a time. However, during exceptionally rainy seasons, the creek can flow, making it inaccessible by car. This occurrence is extremely rare. We will keep our guests informed about the creek's condition leading up to their stay, especially if there has been significant rainfall. While it's unlikely, in the exceedingly rare event that access is compromised, we may need to reschedule your stay. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding in these rare circumstances. Please be aware that at times due to weather conditions there may be fire bans enforced by Qld Fire Service. These bans are enforceable by law and fines apply. This means that during these times no fires are allowed at all - no exceptions. In confirming this booking the guests acknowledge that they adhere to the above rules and take responsibility to stay safe at all times.
