Starnash Shepherd's Hut

Our shepherd’s hut is a cosy retreat tucked away by a little orchard to one side of our farmhouse garden. It’s a perfect place to get away from it all and immerse yourself in nature. The space Inside it is like a little cabin, furnished with an eclectic mix of vintage finds. The double bed is snuggly with plenty of cushions and throws. There is a wood-burning stove and it is warm and comfortable all year round. The kitchenette has everything you need for your stay. It has a small ‘fridge with a freezer compartment to quickly chill your drinks and there is a microwave oven and electric single hob to cook on. Cutlery, crockery and household cleaning items are provided. All you need to do is bring something delicious to eat. There is a shower and chemical toilet, and all towels are provided. There is a quiet garden area outside the shepherd’s hut with a table and chairs for al fresco breakfasts, or a barbecue by the fire pit for those evenings when you want to sit outside beneath the stars. In the summer there is a 2-acre grassland and wildflower meadow with a mown meandering walkway for guests to wander through and appreciate the birds, bees, butterflies and biodiversity.
