In the beautiful former Queen's Hotel, our flat has one of the best seafront views of Hastings, allowing immediate access to the new town & shops, the beach is right opposite, the pier nearby and it's a short walk to the historic & picturesque Old Town & fishing village as well as the bijou shops & bars of St Leonard’s. Spacious, stylishly decorated, thoughtfully equipped and conveniently located. Whether it’s a fun family break or a relaxing retreat – our seafront flat is for you! The space Our flat is spacious, bright, newly & thoughtfully decorated with local furnishings, artwork and photography. It’s a perfect place as a retreat from exploring the local area, walks along the beach, enjoying the local restaurants and bars or just as a place to sit, have coffee and watch the sea roll in! It’s a family-friendly flat due to the size (lots of places for hide and seek!) but also, plenty of calming touches for those just looking for a space to escape. This flat is for you! The entrance hallway is tall and airy with lots of interesting features. The contemporary bathroom benefits from a heated towel rail and shower over the bath, as well as newly fitted shower screen and quality towels for your comfort. The king-size bed bedroom is roomy and a calm space with some quirky furniture touches to it. Our twin bedroom contains 2 singles plus a good work desk with some stationery supplies, should you feel work is in order at some point! Both rooms are spacious with plenty of cupboard space. Central heating throughout, though the flat is warm due to the amount of sunshine it receives. Quality bedding & towels provided and baby equipment on request. The kitchen/diner is huge! Plenty of space to cook, entertain, play board games etc.. Fully equipped with plenty of quality cutlery and crockery for all your needs. Dishwasher, electric hob/oven, and washing machine as well – a great communal space for you and your guests to relax in. At the end of the airy hallway is the stunningly beautiful living space, with amazing views of both the seafront, the pier and also the historic Hastings Castle and Old Town to the East. It has a good widescreen TV and reliable, free Wifi. A selection of games, toys and books and is stylishly decorated throughout. A perfect place to unwind with those views, sup on a glass of wine at dusk or drink morning coffee to the sounds of the waves. Its central location allows access to local seafront entertainments, sights, country parks, restaurants/bars, shops and tourist attractions. Whether it’s fish & chips on the pebbles, an ice cream on the prom, a walk along the beach, a fun day out at the fairground or a mooch around the picturesque old town boutiques, come and experience what this flat and Hasting has to offer! Guest access Access is through the grand communal staircase - one short, shallow flight of stairs leads you to the lift, which will take you to the 1st floor (technically the 2nd but you press 1!) and our flat is right there. Dedicated parking space right outside with ramp access. Other things to note Bookings are preferred as follows; - weekend stays from Friday 3pm - Monday 11am. - week stays from Monday 3pm - Friday 11am. - full week stays from Friday 3pm - Friday 11am. We will consider other booking dates but please contact us first for an enquiry. For a 2 night stay, there may be a small surcharge especially at weekends and peak times but please contact host. Also, over peak periods, we prefer 4 night minimum bookings but PLEASE contact me if you want to book a shorter period. Any extra equipment needed e.g. cots, high chairs can be provided. Please contact us in advance for any specific requirements. Please note - towels are for use ONLY inside the property. Please bring your own beach towels. There is a small selection of beach equipment available in the kitchen sideboard. We live locally and are keen to help guests get the best out of our town - so we would be happy to recommend places to go / eat / drink / play! Just ask!
