The inside of the home is tastefully decorated with water themed paintings and local maps. There's a full kitchen with an oven, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and cookware. The home features two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Location, Location, Location! This home sits on the water on a prime fishing spot. With your own boat dock you can easily access West Bay and any destination in Jamaica Beach on the water with your boat. Permits are requried to launch a boat so notify us in advance if you are bringing a boat. The home is also just a mile from the beach on the Gulf of Mexico side of the island. As you can see from the photos the house is located on a natural inlet from West Bay. This is why there is good fishing right from the dock of this house. There are lots of people every day and night who use their own boats and kayaks to come fish the water in front of this house! When you stay at this house you will be staying in a location where you already want to be and not just near where you want to be. Whether you are staying for the weekend or longer the combination of the tranquility of the location and the multitude of recreational opportunities will surely leave you smiling. Guests will have access to everything except locked storage areas and kayaks. Guest can reach me through the app or by calling or texting. Usually a quite place to enjoy the lovely view, the fishing, and the water. Best to have your own car to get to the property and to restaurants and stores. The house also has a boat dock that you can dock your own boat at. There's a community boat ramp near the house you can use to launch your boat. If you're just getting dropped off at the house you can walk to the beach, a convenience store, and shopping center with a restaurant and bar all within 1 mile from the house. Also K6 Sports and Rick's Beach Rentals will deliver a golf car to the home if you want to get around Jamaica Beach by golf car. K6 Sports and Rick's Beach Rentals will also deliver kayaks to the house. K6 Sports can also take you on guided kayak tours as well. Bring plenty of drinking water. Most people in the city of Jamaica Beach don't drink the city of Jamaica Beach municipal tap water. We don't recommend drinking or cooking with the tap water. If bringing a boat the city boat ramp requires a permit that must be obtained in advance of the launch day, and permits cannot be obtained on the weekend. However, there are private boat ramps nearby such as Waterman's Marina, that you can pay to use.
