The 1 bed 1 bathroom studio apartment has its own entrance and looks out on to gorgeous canyon views. Guests have shared access to an enormous outdoor entertainers space. Here you can relax in the hot tub under the stars, kindle memories around the fire pit, or relax on the zero gravity two-person swing. The space This stunning newly renovated house consists of 2 apartments . Each has their own entrance and are completely self contained. This Airbnb listing is the studio apartment. It is located down a flight of stairs on the lower floor/garden area. It has 1 bed (with extra full pull out sofa couch) 1 bath, kitchen/living room/dining area, private guest laundry room with shared access to the enormous entertainers backyard. I (the owner) and sometimes her partner live upstairs on the two upper floors in a separate self contained apartment with its own front door entrance. I rarely use the outside amenities (hot tub, BBQ, fire pits, swing) when guests are staying in the downstairs apartment, but you may occasionally see me and my 5 pound (very quiet) malti-pom in the shared garden area. I am super respectful of your privacy and keep my noise to a bare minimum. And I promise, Bondi (my dog) and I are very friendly! :) Guests will enter from the street level with a smart code to the side gate entrance (provided prior to arrival). They will walk down the side stairs to the garden level where you will find a front door (again, via a keyless entry with a separate code that will be provided before arrival). INSIDE THE STUDIO APARTMENT: While the apartment is one large room, it has been partitioned off into separate spaces. Bedroom Area: The King sized bed is fit with a brand new Tempur-pedic mattress for the perfect sleep! A pull out drawer holding extra linens can be found under the bed. A custom wardrobe can store a suitcase and is perfect to unpack all your clothes and the Samsung TV (with access to Direct TV Stream, Hulu, Netflix, HBO, Paramount Plus, Showtime, ESPN Plus) is on a movable stand so you can easily move throughout the apartment for your viewing pleasure! Bathroom: The small bathroom has a shower with dual shower heads and has all your favorite aveda/aseop products to use. Behind the door there is a small nook that holds a vacuum, broom, dustpan and extra cleaning equipment should you need it. Work space: A custom full sized desk with Herman Miller chair is the perfect space to answer emails and work from 'home'. A blue tooth Sonos speaker is provided for all your music needs! Kitchen: A kitchen is fitted with electric cooktops, microwave, dishwasher, a Fisher and Paykel fridge with filtered water and an ice maker and a smart Keurig coffee maker with milk frother. It is the perfect space to cook a meal and dine on the moveable counter top bar, which also doubles as extra food prep space. Living Area: A full bed pull out Sofa couch (extra linens under the King Bed) is available for extra guests or children. OUTSIDE AREA Deck/Hot Tub: Take in the stunning canyon view from the multi-level deck. Top level: hosts a tree house like dining nook (table for 4) Middle level: Relax in the beautifully lit hot tub first thing in the morning underneath the tree canopy or wind down at the end of the day under the stars. Hot tub and deck both have adjustable ambient lighting. Towels and robes provided. Gravity free Double Swing: Equipped with drink holders, watch the sunrise with a coffee or the sunset with a cocktail from the zero-gravity double person swing (outdoor blankets provided). Fire Pits: Enjoy a wine or cook some s'mores (skewers provided) around the double (gas lit) fire pits. Ample seating provided. Sun Loungers: Smell the orange blossoms and lavender in the stunningly curated garden as you catch some rays and read a magazine on the sun loungers. Larger Dining Experience: Dine outside on the large 12-seater table decked with chic Kartell ghost chairs. Collapsable large umbrellas are available for sun protection. GUEST LAUNDRY ROOM Washer dryer is provided for guests the laundry/storage room next to the outside stairs. This is a private non shared facility for guests only. You will never be sharing with the owner. PARKING There is ample free parking spots out the front of the house and on the street, and while the garage is not available to use, you can also park directly in front of the garage. Please try to park in front of the house/garage and be mindful of the neighbors. PETS Due to owner allergies, we cannot allow pets anymore. Thank you. SMOKING As of October 2024, we have implemented strict no vaping or smoking policy due to insurance changes on the property. Thank you for respecting this house rule. Guest access Guests will have access to the lower floor apartment in the house, a private laundry and the huge entertainers garden, deck and hot tub. I (the owner and sometimes her bf) live upstairs in a separate apartment on the top two levels, but I have my own entry via the front door. My dog, partner and I can occasionally be seen in the shared garden/entertainment area but we try to avoid going directly in front of the studio apartment (fire pits) for privacy reasons while guests are occupying the apartment. Other things to note My gardeners come every Thursday to help keep the garden/deck looking pretty and the hot tub clean! They usually arrive for an hour between 11-2pm. The sprinkler system comes on a few times a week (automatically) at 6am. It shouldn't bother you, but if you hear water, that's what it is! As the lower floored apartment is part of the house, you may occasionally hear some noise from the top levels (as you would in any apartment building complex). I am extremely conscious of this for my guests and keep my noise to a bare minimum, but want you to be aware and also mindful of the same! We kindly ask that all noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm and any additional visitors vacate the property at the same time as a noise courtesy. My 5 pound Maltese-Pom dog is pretty darn adorable and very quiet. Occasionally he will bark if he thinks someone is intruding. It never lasts long (aka seconds) but it happens from time to time if he hears a strange noise. My house has strict non smoking policy (as of October 2024) due to canyon fire regulations and new insurance policies. This includes vaping of any kind. Thank you for respecting this.
