Whether you prefer to relax indoors or outdoors, our house has several options. We have a large garden room with fireplace, outdoor kitchen with barbecue and heated saltwater pool with lounge area. Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood by Iddefjorden. The area offers many hiking opportunities all year round. Follow the coastal path along the fjord, kayak, enjoy a lovely day at the public swimming area or find your own cove. There is a short drive to the city center, restaurants and Fredriksten fortress. Welcome to us! The space The house has its own screened garden with plenty of space for both adults and children. On the playground we have a trampoline, playroom and a small tree top hut. By the pool there are sun loungers and a lounge sofa. The garden room has both a large dining table and a sofa group with immediate access to a simple outdoor kitchen with a grill. The house has on the 1st floor a fairly open floor plan with kitchen/dining room and living room in one. On the ground floor we also find one bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. On the 2nd floor of the house there are three more bedrooms with double beds. Here you will also find an office, bathroom with bathtub and laundry room. We have a nice cat, Mikke, who prefers to stay on the property when rented. He is mostly out in the summer, but comes by to get some food, water and cuddles occasionally. He has his own cat house outside that he also uses. We have four bicycles (two adults, two children) as well as two kayaks that can be borrowed if desired. An older Bayliner 1851SS daycruiser, can be rented for an addition to the price. The pool requires some simple maintenance (10 min) during the summer season over longer rental periods. Training is provided upon arrival. We also appreciate if flowers and plants get some water. Guest access We lock one room for our private belongings as well as some cabinets. Guests are otherwise free to use the house and property. Other things to note The house is located at the end of a quiet neighborhood, and we prioritize having families and adults as guests. We do not want parties to be held, and it is important to us that normal night peace is respected.
