Book now for an unforgettable coastal holiday. The space A gourmet kitchen Our ultra-modern kitchen hyper-equipped and thrills any (hobby) chef. Around our kitchen island, you can host the most exquisite dinners thanks to our beautiful Serax tableware designed by Ann Demeulemeester, quality glassware and easy breezy vibes. Cooking outside is no problem either! A large Kamado barbecue is at your disposal. Did we mention that you will definitely enjoy the beautiful sea view while cooking inside or outside? Enjoy! The living room Adjoining our spacious living room is our 125m2 pink terrace. Slide the windows wide open and enjoy the curtains dancing in the breeze, let the sun shine in and the salty air thrill you. Plop down in our comfortable sofa and start a Netflix marathon. Of course, you can also just look outside, because the sea view from our seventh floor never gets boring! Furthermore, there is a portable B&O Bluetooth speaker and a large dining table that can also easily serve as a workplace. Fancy losing yourself completely in your favourite book or magazines? This is perfectly possible from our iconic Muller van Severen rocking chair. Two bedrooms Both bedrooms are equipped with the most comfortable Revor beds you can dream of. The 'master bedroom' accommodates a large 180x200 cm bed, direct access to the terrace via a huge sliding window and, finally, also has a small make-up station/workshop. The second bedroom is slightly more modest with an equally comfortable 160x200 cm bed and two smaller windows. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, can be fully darkened and there is plenty of closet space to store all your luggage. By the way, you don't need to bring bed or bath linen, we already provide that - we even make your bed prior to your arrival ;-). Private bathroom per bedroom Just as each bedroom has its own bathroom, each bathroom is complete with a large walk-in shower, toilet, sink and large mirror. One of the bathrooms also has a washing machine and dryer hidden away. Both bathrooms are equipped with bath towels and a hairdryer. Feel like bringing your shower ritual closer to nature? Then make sure to use our heated outdoor shower on our terrace. Our Pink Terrace One of the main assets of The Pink Penthouse is our 125m2 pink terrace, which offers you a 270° tour around our penthouse. On the south side, you overlook the dunes of the 'Westhoek' nature reserve. This side is planted with olive trees, pines and grasses. It is a great place to have breakfast in the sun or just look out from your bed and listen to the seagulls. Walking to the sea side of our terrace, the frontal sea view is overwhelming. You can see Dunkirk on the west side and even Ostend on the east side on clear days. Because there is no noisy dike in front of you, but a protected dune area, you can see the hares playing and really enjoy the sunset. Thanks to the huge area, there is enough room for two comfortable deck chairs, a bar table, a large round dining table for 6 guests, an outdoor lounge, breakfast nook, heated outdoor shower and Kamado barbecue. P.S. Did we mention that we painted our terrace tiles pink? We quite like... pink. Guest access You rent the entire Penthouse which is 100% at your disposal. After we give you a guided tour upon your arrival, we won’t burden your for one minute. Other things to note Our penthouse occupies half of the top floor of a seven-storey apartment building, surrounded by dunes and sea. You’ll notice that a lot of seventies charm was preserved during the 2022 renovations. Mainly by the use of materials, never compromising on your comfort. Nevertheless, we should mention that we do not have air conditioning, and the lift only goes up to the sixth floor. Thus, the bonus floor has to be conquered by stairs, which makes it a non-wheelchair-accessible accommodation. We do apologise for that. However, we do have 2 private underground parking places. But what we love the most is the 25-metre-long sandy pavement that carries you directly to the beach. As much as we love The Pink Penthouse, we do encourage you to go and spend as much time as possible on the beach, the sand dunes and in the sea. This place is all about bare-footed, sandy, saline walks that make you lose all notion of time. We made a pinky swear that in this penthouse every day shall be a holiday.
