Cabin in Hardangervidda, Garen

Spacious cabin on Hardangervidda west with room for 8-10 people. Undisturbed location with a great view. Good tumble space outside and large terrace with fire pit. Sauna and 2 bathrooms. Great hiking terrain around the cabin and only a short drive to all the hiking opportunities Hardangervidda has to offer. Good starting point for active days! In winter there is a cross-country ski slope 100 m from the cabin. Alpine: Sysendalen ski resort 7 min drive (note! Not in operation in the winter of 2026), about an hour to Voss and Geilo. The space The cabin was built in 2016 and everything is relatively new. Good duvets and pillows; some down pillows/duvets and some fiber duvets/pillows. Bed linens and towels are included in the rental. Good beds in all 4 bedrooms, a total of 8 beds. In addition, there is room for 2 on the sofa bed in the loft (but it is a bit hard). In total, you can sleep 10 people. Well-equipped kitchen; pots, frying pan, mixer, waffle iron, coffee machine (beans), kettle, etc. Space in the freezer. Fireplace that heats well, firewood is included in the rent. Board games for small and large, Lego, Duplo and drawing materials. Outdoor toys such as snowracers, sledding mat, miniski, toy snowboard, slack line, kubb, darts and various small toys. Two hammocks that can be used outside. If you want to spend the night outside, we have two tents that can be used, as well as sleeping mats. There is a smart TV in the living room and in the loft where there is access to Viaplay, Netflix and NRK. Included in the daily rent: bed linen, towels, firewood, electricity, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid and lots of equipment for play and activity. Guest access Access to the entire cabin except for one room that is locked. Some drawers in dressers with private items (these are marked), but we free up as much space as possible. Other things to note The cleaning fee covers the washing of linen/towels. Normal cleaning is expected during your stay. Outside the high season it is possible to book for 2 nights, please contact us if applicable. High season: June, July, August, Christmas/New Year and school winter holidays.
