It's a place to stroll home to after beautiful days of swimming and beachcombing, light the grill on the deck out back, and spend your evenings relaxing in fragrant ocean air. This cottage sits half a mile south of downtown Old Orchard Beach, well within walking distance of the Old Orchard Pier, Palace Playland, the Amtrak station, and all sorts of shops and eateries. Yet it's also just removed enough to be relaxing and quiet - where you can unwind in a recliner on the glassed-in front porch, glimpsing the Atlantic Ocean at the end of the road. Walk home from the beach to find a living space that's cool, breezy, and full of sunlight (with window AC in the living room and bedrooms). As fresh local seafood sizzles on the gas grill out back, get started on your favorite side dishes in the well-equipped kitchen and set the windowside dining table for dinner. In the evenings, you can watch your favorite movies on cable or streaming, use the high-speed WiFi to check tomorrow's surf report, and leave the day's swimsuits and towels to spin in the washer/dryer downstairs. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Guest access Enter your access code at the front door, turn the deadbolt, and step inside - the interior blue door will be unlocked for you. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. If early check-in or late checkout is available for your dates, you'll receive an email or text offer. The housekeeping team will be preparing the home between 10am and 4pm for incoming guests. Other things to note The home includes a gas grill on the porch and a small space heater for added warmth - though the porch isn't insulated, so it's best for supplemental comfort on milder evenings. You'll find complimentary start-up supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry soap.
