Welcome to Yellowstone - Crow Nest Farm’s Glamping experience! Our 16’x14’ canvas tent allows you to experience the wonder of nature in style. An elevated camping experience, Yellowstone boasts a queen bed, crisp white sheets or flannels, Pendleton blankets and all the comforts of a true Glamorous Camping (Glamping) adventure. Crow Nest Farm, Trumansburg NY’s newest adventure lodging destination in the Fingerlakes, is pleased to present back to nature luxury lodging with Yellowstone. Our 14x16 canvas tent is built on a platform of fir planks on the edge of Crow Nest Farm. Secluded, private, and completely screened, you will sleep soundly on the queen sized brass bed under sun bleached white sheets in the summer and cozy cotton flannel during the colder months. A Chief Joseph Pendelton wool blanket waits for the chilly nights. A luggage rack, cupboards with necessities, a table with chairs and a cozy loveseat complete the furnishings. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with meal necessities and snacks. Metal plates, bowls, utensils, salt and pepper, spring water. Granola bars and a S’mores kit for campfire treats! Towels, bath mats and face cloths are in the bathroom cupboard along with water if you prefer a basin wash up or to brush your teeth in the tent. A marine potti is available if you don’t feel like walking to the bathroom in the barn at night. The bathroom and kitchen spaces are located nearby in our 1880s barn and shared with our sister Airbnb, The Bunkhouse. The walk-in shower has plenty of hot water. Towels, bath mat, wash cloths and Dr Bronner’s soaps are provided. The toilet is a state of the art composting toilet. Water on the farm is a spring-fed well, please don’t let the water run. The barn kitchen is where you will find coffee and the fixings. Baked goods are often left here, please help yourself! Coffee cups are in the tent cupboard, take a pot back to the tent from the kitchen in our thermal coffee carriers. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster are available. No stove or oven. Leave your dishes in the sink and we will wash and return. Provided lanterns and fan are rechargeable. Leave your lanterns and fan on the farmhouse porch and pick up charged units outside the farmhouse front door. Lanterns have usb ports for charging phones and we have extra chargers if you forget yours. The barn also has plenty of outlets if you need plug anything in. Got a big group? Consider booking our sister Airbnbs also on the property: The Bunkhouse, a four bunk bed room located inside the blue barn, The Coop, a 100 year old converted chicken coop or The Jetson Suite, located inside the main house. You have access all night to the nearby barn through the kitchen door. In the loft you will find monster movies and games in the rec room and poker chips and cards in the poker room. The barn has plenty of lounging spaces, but please note that off limit spaces are marked private. Please be respectful of the guests in our sister Airbnb, The Bunkhouse, and be quiet during the morning and evening. Enjoy the barn but be mindful of the uneven surfaces. Less than a mile from Trumansburg NY eateries and entertainment, close to multiple state parks, the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails. Hiking and biking galore- check out the nearby Black Diamond Trail! We are 3/4 of a mile from the nearest bus stop. Car recommended. Parking is in our lot with a dedicated spot marked with signage: RESERVED FOR YELLOWSTONE. Phone chargers are built into the battery operated fans. We have chickens and Edward, the rooster crows at dawn. Lots of other birds sing loudly also. Earplugs provided in nightstand. No smoking or candles. Adult beverages in moderation only, we are not a party venue. Refrigerator in barn for your use-plug on countertop- plug in if desired. Small attended campfires permitted in fire ring only. Bring your own camp-stove if you plan on cooking meals. The tent does not have electricity, nor is it heated, bring warm clothing for fall and spring months.
