The main house has 3 bedrooms: an upstairs master suite (CA KS bed) with full panoramic views of the ocean and a private patio; a bedroom with QS bed overlooking the front garden; and a beachfront patio bedroom with two twin beds. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout to keep the ocean breezes flowing. The owners recently added a charming detached Casita studio with private entrance and bathroom. The Casita is furnished with a queen size bed, A/C and overhead fan. The house has two stand-up paddleboards, 2 cruiser bikes and many other amenities perfect for a family, group of friends, or a romantic getaway. Launch your kiteboard or windsurfer from the beach in front of the house. Rent some mountain bikes from the town bike shop and hop onto the local single track network or toodle down the coast. Enjoy a BBQ in the backyard garden or relax in the hammock while listening to the birds. The driveway and parking area offer enough space for a camper or boat, and there’s a private boat ramp. A short walk down the beach takes you to the Hotel Palmas de Cortez where you can enjoy having a drink, snack or dinner at the pool bar or beach restaurant. The area also offers world class kite sailing, windsurfing, fishing, snorkeling, mountain biking, hiking and whale watching. You can find a myriad of other activities in town such as yoga, massage, and pickle ball and ATV rentals. Washer, Dryer, Beach, and check out the pool at the hotel Palmas juts 5 minutes from the house. The Property Management Staff will take care of anything you need during your stay. Originally founded as a typical Baja fishing village, Los Barriles has since grown into a nice town that welcomes tourists who are looking for a quiet, romatic place, enjoy nature, sports and the outdoors. On the main road of Los Barriles you will find several nice little restaurants and bars, a couple of small hotels, various souvenir shops, a smoke house (where you can smoke the fish you catch to bring it home), ATV rentals, and of course quite a few Real Estate. In case you decide you want a piece of Baja... The most famous beach in Los Barriles is Playa Norte...here is where kite surfers and wind surfers from all around the globe get together every winter to take advantage of the great winds that we have here from December to March. Fishing season starts right after the surfers leave and old Baja fishermen flock into Los Barriles from every corner of the United states...they know why, the wildlife and game fishing here along the East Cape are just incredible. Walking works great but you can also rent Mountain bikes or ATVs locally to explore the area and have some fun. Need help with your plans?
