Poddington Cottage, nr Salisbury

A secluded self contained annex in the countryside to relax with your 4 legged friends. Local to the popular wedding venues of Bowerchalke Barns and West Barn Lodge. Also only 1 mile from the annual Chalke History Festival site. There are lots of circular walks directly from the cottage, also within an hours drive you could be on the beach or in the New Forest. For a quiet evening in, there are board games, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and a Smart TV. A village pub is 10 minutes walk all away. The space The cottage is all open plan on two levels. Downstairs there is a lounge area, dining room area, fully fitted kitchen and a downstairs shower room. Upstairs is a bedroom with small en-suite toilet. There is plenty of parking outside for two cars. To access the property you drive down the drive which has a five bar gate at the entrance. This can be left open or closed if you would like to let your dog off to run in this area. There is a ring camera by the gate which picks up vehicles on the driveway. This camera is not focused on the annex. To the side of the annex is a private raised gravelled area with seating for two and an additional bench. The drive and gravelled area is secure for dogs to play and relax. We do ask no dogs upstairs please, or dogs not to be left in the property unattended. Guest access Large driveway and level area at front of the cottage. Keysafe for self Check-in. Other things to note There is a sofa bed downstairs. If guests would like to use this, please mention this at time of booking, so extra bedding can be made available for you at a charge of £10 per booking Transport may be available to and from events held at Bowerchalke Barns and West Barn Lodge. Taxi's generally cost £80 plus return from Poddington Cottage to the above venues. This is due to the fact that they have to depart from Salisbury which is approx 9 miles away. Mobile reception is poor at the above venues, so transport needs to be booked prior to attending the event if required. We may be able to help source transport which will cost £50 for a return trip with collection from venue at the latest11.30 p.m. Please enquire at time of booking if you would like to discuss the transport option in more detail.
