The bunk bedroom includes air conditioning for cool, comfortable sleep after warm tropical days. Casa Palma is located beachfront in Punta Banco, a quiet stretch of coast about 10-15 minutes south of Pavones by car (gorgeous slow mph drive). You can enjoy uncrowded local waves nearby or make the short drive to surf the famous Pavones point break and return to a more peaceful setting afterward. This area is best suited for travelers who appreciate nature and simplicity. Punta Banco is a small village with limited restaurants and no nightlife. Expect jungle sounds at night, uncrowded beaches, and an abundance of wildlife such as monkeys, white faced coatis and many varieties of tropical birds. Ideal for surfers, couples, and travelers seeking space, quiet, and direct access to the ocean. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and direct beach access in front of the property. Parking is available on-site. A vehicle is recommended for exploring Pavones and surrounding area. Other things to note This is a jungle house so please be advised it is not for everyone. We have been coming and staying in the Punta Banco village for almost 20 years and have designed this home to check a lot of the boxes that we find to be important. We love that most of the local homes encourage open air kitchen and living spaces. Bugs are here, but not usually at an uncomfortable rate. The big bedroom is equipped with an air conditioner and is a great place to escape the midday heat. The second bedroom is open air with screens and extends to a small back porch that looks out to the jungle.
