Enjoy a quiet private retreat designed for comfort. 📍 Location • Access: 5-min walk from Suncheon Station / 4-min taxi from Bus Terminal • Nearby: Banks, stores, restaurants, cafés, markets (5-min walk) • Area: Quiet residential alley 🌿 Riverside Walk (1-min) Steps from the Dongcheon riverside path, famous for spring cherry blossoms. The space ✅ Licensed & Legal Accommodation Soo-Hanok is a fully licensed Hanok stay, officially registered with Suncheon City. You will have exclusive use of the entire 55-pyeong (approx. 180㎡) hanok, allowing your group to enjoy the house privately without sharing the space. ⏰ Check-in / Check-out • Check-in: From 3:00 PM • Check-out: By 11:00 AM • Early check-in: If cleaning is completed early, we will notify you when the house is ready. • Luggage storage: Available from check-out until 3:00 PM on the same day. ※ Due to the detailed cleaning required for a traditional Hanok, late check-out is not available. We appreciate your understanding. 🛌 Bedding Arrangement by Number of Guests Bedding is prepared according to the number of guests. • 2–4 guests: Two queen-size beds (Room 1 & Room 2) • 5 guests: Two queen-size beds + one hotel-style futon set (set on a hinoki wood single platform in the traditional room) • 6 guests: Two queen-size beds + two hotel-style futon sets (traditional room) • Additional futon bedding: If you need extra futon bedding, please request it at least one day before check-in. (Additional fee: 20,000 KRW per set) Guest access · Courtyard (Front & Side Yard) Side yard terrace: Two heated foot baths and an outdoor table set are provided, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Front yard: Decorated with basalt stones and small garden beds, offering a calm and traditional hanok atmosphere. · Bedrooms & Traditional Room (Sarangbang) In addition to two bedrooms, there is a traditional Korean room with the atmosphere of an old sarangbang. A hinoki wood platform bed is provided, making it an ideal space for tea time, reading, or quiet work. The living room and all three rooms are equipped with individual air conditioners for a comfortable stay. · Kitchen & Dining Provided items: 1-burner induction cooktop, pot, tableware, cutlery, wine glasses, and cups There are many good restaurants nearby, making it easy to enjoy delivered food comfortably at the house. ※ Due to the nature of a traditional hanok, strong-smelling dishes (such as grilled pork or kimchi stew) are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding. · Bathroom & Laundry Room (Washer & Dryer) Provided amenities: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser, toothpaste, disposable toothbrushes, towels, and a hair dryer etc. Liquid laundry detergent is pre-filled and dispenses automatically, so there is no need to bring your own detergent. Dryer sheets are also provided. ⚠️ Safety Notice For fire safety, please use either the washer or the dryer at one time only. (Do not operate both simultaneously.) Other things to note Soo-Hanok is a traditional hanok located in a quiet residential neighborhood. To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please review the following guidelines. 1. Atmosphere & Noise Enjoying light conversation with a beer or a glass of wine is perfectly fine. However, please note that this accommodation is not suitable for gatherings involving drinking games or loud noise. We appreciate your understanding. 2. No Smoking Indoors Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors, including the use of e-cigarettes. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area located in the inner yard next to the traditional room. ※ If indoor smoking is detected, a cleaning and deodorizing fee of 200,000 KRW will be charged. 3. Cooking Restrictions As a traditional wooden hanok, odors can easily linger indoors. For this reason, cooking foods that produce strong smells or heavy smoke is restricted. (e.g. grilled pork or meat, grilled fish, deep-fried foods) The use of personal portable burners is not allowed. 4. Care for Bedding & Facilities If there is significant staining on bedding or damage to the furniture and facilities, costs for specialized cleaning or restoration may be charged. We appreciate your careful use of our home. 5. Insects We regularly carry out professional pest control services. However, due to the residential and natural surroundings, an occasional insect may appear. Please understand that refunds are not possible for this reason. 6. Traditional Hanok Structure & Safety Traditional Hanoks have high thresholds and steps. Please be careful while moving around to avoid any injury. Guests are responsible for accidents or damages caused by personal negligence. ⚠️ Please Note For fire safety, do not use the washing machine and dryer at the same time. Please use them one at a time, sequentially. As the house is located in a quiet residential area, we kindly ask you to keep noise to a minimum late at night, including loud conversations or music.
